Miracle on 63rd Street is an event hosted by my Business Englewood Branded and my non profit Branding englewood that focuses on providing memorable moments for our Englewood children and families. Last year's event we served 3,126 people throughout the day with Hot Chocolate, Hot food, Live entertainment, Coats (500), Smores, activities, resources and the highlight of the day was the Edub Workshop where we distributed over 3000 toys for our youth. Esthetics also included HorseBack rides, Reindeer, Christmas Tree decorating, and more.
Miracle on 63rd street was created to restore Hope in a community that has been disinvested and solely looked at as the Cinderella of Chicago. A lack of resources, high unemployment and increased broken homes, we understood the need to support our families during this time that many children look forward to all year as the highlight of the year.
Miracle on 63rd Street is dedicated to bringing the unordinary to the 63rd street corridor. From exotic animals to Ice Skating Rinks, no task is undeniable. We aim to give the absolute best experience and resources to the children and families of Englewood creating a safe space and community engagement, bringing unity in a community that is so often looked down upon. This year will be the return of the Ice Skating Rink.
We understand that none of this could be possible with community partners and we are very grateful for all that have supported thus far. CommUNITY is what makes development thrive whether it's building structures or simply building relationships. We look forward to enlarging and enhancing our community partners and outreach to ensure we service the community as a whole.
This year we are hoping to collaborate with local businesses, organizations and with Black Santa ( NBA Legend Baron Davis Organization to heighten the experience, giving our children and families more Love, Respect, Honor and show them our Dedication to ensuring they will forever have our support.
